If anyone has seen the video civanon (like Alcoholics Anon, only civ player) you'll understand my dilemma.

I bought BtS yesterday, played it, was working great.
Then today it stopped working.
Some sort of GFC error, and a error loading shader libraries.

I am so bogged down with trying to fix these bugs that I'm losing my mind.

Here is a quote that I liked by way traveler

In essence, then, the BTS experience is hopelessly buggy for at least 90% of players. That simply isn't good enough.

I'm feeling a little hopeless right now.
I'm on the verge of playing warlords.
It's tough to go back, dudes.

Have you tried a complete reinstall of Civ 4 and then BTS?

I hesitated because of the length of time, but I guess that seems less time consuming then messing around and google searching ways to fix it.

But here is a dilemma.
I 'm having trouble un-installing
You'd figure going to add or remove programs would remove programs.

I just tried un-installing BtS, and installshield wizard comes up and asks me if I want to install.

Woe
Woe-ho-ooooooh

Well speaking for my situation idk if I am just a part of the priviledged 10% or w/e but BTS works awesome for me and totally blows my socks off.

this may be obvious but have you rebooted your pc ?
If it asks you to install, I would say yes.

Hmm, my BTS runs great with the latest patch plus bhuric's.... and I had a lot of trouble with vanilla Civ IV. If you've updated and added Bhuric's, I would suggest reinstalling, otherwise use those patches.

Looks like the registry isn't configured to say you have it. You should be able to wipe all your Civ files and reinstall without too much of a problem, if any.

you're missing certain dlls. I had the same problem and fixed it by copying from the windows folder to the civ folder. I did a google search to find the answer... you should do the same. If you can't find it, post your EXACT error message here and I or someone else can help you look.
