how is it possible that christianity, judaism, islam and hinduism religions have been founded whereas buddhism, taoism and confucianism have not been founded?

i mean aren't the two first religion in each game buddhism and hinduism?
how did you manage to discover "late" religion without having anyone discover "early" ones?

I once had a game where Sitting Bull was isolated, he lost his capital to the barb event and they set up and entire civ with towns! I landed a scouting party and they got slaughtered. Cripes.

Interestingly enough, the barbs can do whatever they want. In TheGrimm's Epic Seven (http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1370) report, they built Stonehenge.

For what it's worth, the barbarians will eventually found a religion themselves if the proper civs are very slow to research the prerequisite tech.
