Hi guys,
I'm new here but have often checked these forums every so often over the years as I am a big fan of the Civ games. Let me start by asking forgiveness if this post is in the wrong section, it seems to fit best here but I may be wrong.
When not playing Civ (Civ II mostly, I like the classic game) I am playing Diplomacy online at Redscape. I know several here who do the same.
Anyways, a while back I had developed a Diplomacy game that borrows many elements from the Civ games. It is Diplomacy foremost but you would all recognize the Civ flavor added to that game. The game has been played 7 times already and I am firing up game number 8. The game has received a TON of praise from virtually every player who has played and I am trying to expand it's notice and thought this might be a good place to start?
The game again is DIPLOMACY, not Civilization
but if you like Dip you will love this game, it offers a blank map that you explore and name each space you are first to "discover" very similar to the Civ games you know and love, you will have options of what to do, you can explore, you can improve your city, you can improve your armies, etc etc and again, this is going to be similar to the Civ games you already understand here. The game is played vie email updates sent by the games host (myself) and as you meet other players you start negotiations with them as well and exchange information both real and/or forged/faked. This is not like any other game I am familiar with and is great fun. But please understand, I know this is a Civ site, it is not CIV nor do I pretend it is, but I think many of you would appreciate the similarities and Civ "flavor".

I am not trying to suck people from this site, Civ is awesome but we all play multiple games and you do have a whole bunch of other games discussed here as well so I hope I'm not stepping on any toes!
