Firaxis have removed ZOCs since Civ3. But I wonder now... ZOCs could mean that a unit can intercept another one even not in his square. I mean, a unit can move and if civ were in real time, we could intercept units more easily, or make walls of units preventing intrusions, because a unit can move according to the opponent moves. ZOCs would then be a description of this possibility to intercept other units.
So i thought about this: what about to have a special fonction like a ghost button to activate in order to allow a unit to intercept another if it goes in its ZOC? It would not change anything to the actual system: the Ghost would not be activated by default. Maybe we would need a tech in order to use it?
