Right then lads and lasses, who's going to end up in the bottom three, then? It's one of the most competitive relegation fights for ages. Derby is a given, but who's going to join them?

I'm gonna go with Fulham and Birmingham.

Fulham look dreadful, sure, but I think Brum will stay up. Reading must be worth a shout?

Fulham are going to join them, but the 3rd one to go down will be a tough one. I might as well say Newcastle.

Fulham definately then either Newcastle or Bolton.

Please, God.

I think Newcastle will pull their socks up and stay up.

They do after all have more quality players than the other teams that are struggling... which doesn't help you much if you're not playing well, but these guys have a lot more experience playing at that level and I think it will be the difference.

Derby, Fulham and... hmm. I hope it's Newcastle, because I quite like all the other teams in the relegation fight for one reason or another, but the Toon are getting a bit annoying with all their manager-sacking and general hopelessness. That said, I'd say Reading are most likely to go down out of the lot of them (although I predicted Bolton at the start of the season IIRC).

Derby, will go down unless they pull off the impossible. Probably Fulham :( and i do hope Newcastle go down :D, but i think it could be Birmingham or Wigan.

they were after the first ten rounds

Who knows, they might actually beat our (unwanted) record for least amount of points.

What was the lowest? I seem to remember Sunderland having 11 a couple seasons back, but I might be mistaken..

Sunderland got 19 points in a season, a fair few years ago i believe (may be wrong)

Ahh I remember now why that 11 points was stuck in my head.

At one point, in the 2005/06 season, I was watching a Premiership game with a couple friends.. and at half-time there was an in-studio season analysis type thing..

They showed the table.. And at the bottom was Sunderland, of course... but instead of the 11 points they actually had, they made a mistake (or somebody was just trying to be funny) and it said 1.

Man.. The hosts of the show had a blast with that.. I was cracking up too.

They later apologized to all Sunderland fans.. and even after that, one of the guys was like: "All 5 of them"

We're bloody loud, though. ;)

Look at Newcastle's remaining games,

10 left, 5 of them they play-chelsea, liverpool, portsmouth, everton, tottenham. I would predict nothing from there.

Then they've got West ham and Birmingham at home- quite easily get nothing out of there.

That gives them a possible 9 points. Didn't king kev say he wanted 10- they may even struggle to get them 9 as they have the sunderland derby.

Shoe ins should be fulham and Reading at home but people who keep saying Newcastle have too much class to stay up are the kind of people that claim Newcastle are a sleeping giant, if they were this then they should have done something in the past 50 years!

Anyways Derby definatly, other than that its all open- Fulham have one of the greatest managers of the past 10-20 years behind them now so maybe they could stay up. Who knows- hopefully it'll be a last day decider!

EDIT: really should read what people type...
