And of course, we shall respect forum rules and the two-post rule and the 1001 post rule ;)
Now for my starting pic:

TheBladeRoden Mar 05, 2008, 04:38 PM Izipo wins!
Izipo Mar 05, 2008, 06:24 PM I hesitated for a moment...
Here's the new still :

Snerk Mar 05, 2008, 08:13 PM Let me be the first in this thread to say, i dont know it.
Bartleby Mar 06, 2008, 03:11 AM I'll second that.
classical_hero Mar 06, 2008, 03:13 AM Know eye deer.
Rambuchan Mar 06, 2008, 03:17 AM Let me be the first in this thread to say :stupid:
woodelf Mar 06, 2008, 05:04 AM I'll be the first to say that by saying "I don't know it" I'm :deadhorse:
classical_hero Mar 06, 2008, 05:50 AM I thought you would be warning us for the spam.
woodelf Mar 06, 2008, 05:55 AM Can you spam a thread where post count doesn't count?
classical_hero Mar 06, 2008, 06:07 AM I think we are all doing it, even you.
woodelf Mar 06, 2008, 06:12 AM Since we're all regulars I'll let it slide. I could ban myself for a day or 2...
classical_hero Mar 06, 2008, 06:21 AM Now that would be funny to see, a mod punishing himself for spam. I think I better shut up now.
I think we need a clue or another still.
woodelf Mar 06, 2008, 06:25 AM More stills!
Izipo Mar 06, 2008, 06:27 AM All right, nearly all the regulars are in the new thread... We still miss Mardsen, though. Maybe he's constipated again ?
Anyway, since you all suck at finding Horror B-Movies, here's a new still :
http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/4113/movie38bq0.jpg
Rambuchan Mar 06, 2008, 06:31 AM I think I see Kevin Bacon. But I still dunnowit.
woodelf Mar 06, 2008, 06:34 AM Critters ?
Izipo Mar 06, 2008, 06:37 AM @ Ram : It is indeed Kevin Bacon.
@ Woodelf : No, but getting closer...
woodelf Mar 06, 2008, 06:41 AM Critters 2?
Izipo Mar 06, 2008, 06:45 AM
No, by closer I meant : correct genre, correct title structure (1 word), and nearly as bad...
Come on, a cheesy horror-movie in broad daylight with Kevin Bacon... It shouldn't be too hard by now.
Bartleby Mar 06, 2008, 06:55 AM Tremors ?
woodelf Mar 06, 2008, 06:58 AM Dammit! I knew it wasn't critters, but couldn't remember Tremors! I hate Kevin Bacon and Reba McIntire!
Bartleby Mar 06, 2008, 07:28 AM I was pretty sure from the last still, and since woodelf seems sure too, I'll continue without confirmation.
http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/2623/ketchuptq5.jpg
woodelf Mar 06, 2008, 07:50 AM Ewww, did someone get sprayed by a skunk or is that blood?
Rambuchan Mar 06, 2008, 07:56 AM Good still!
But I have no idea. Well something vaguely like one, but not enough to hazard any guesses.
Snerk Mar 06, 2008, 08:13 AM Looks like tomato juice..
edit:
Ewww, did someone get sprayed by a skunk or is that blood?
I see what you did there.
Love Mar 06, 2008, 08:42 AM I actually think i seen that, but a long time ago.
Izipo Mar 06, 2008, 09:41 AM Right, it was Tremors...
Hmm, interesting new still... Notice how the 'red stuff' seems to be coming directly from the faucet.
But I have no idea.

nonconformist Mar 06, 2008, 02:59 PM Parting the Red Sea?

woodelf Mar 06, 2008, 03:51 PM More stills and clues!
Bartleby Mar 07, 2008, 03:23 AM http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/9775/returnoftheflyru6.jpg
Rambuchan Mar 07, 2008, 04:43 AM That dude has some bizarre facial hair going on :wow:
woodelf Mar 07, 2008, 04:58 AM The blob of blood?
TheHaze Mar 07, 2008, 05:18 AM I remember something about movies in b&w that had scenes partially in red. Schindler's List being probably the most famous one, but I think Spielberg took the idea from this movie originally. Can't remember the title, though. Is it from Hitchcock?
nonconformist Mar 07, 2008, 07:31 AM Is that Vincent Price?
Bartleby Mar 07, 2008, 07:55 AM Yes, it's Vincent Price.
It's not a Hitchcock film; I have a vague feeling there may be a black and white and red connection involving Psycho but that might just be the chocolate sauce thing.
The movie in the still is reputed to have used a marketing technique involving rigging some seats in theatres to give electric shocks to the audience in order to make them scream.
Rambuchan Mar 07, 2008, 07:56 AM So it's a Hammer movie then?
Bartleby Mar 07, 2008, 08:00 AM No, it's American.
edit: further trivia; it was the first film to depict an LSD trip
Bartleby Mar 07, 2008, 10:41 AM The internets is currently not functioning in my office; it's doubtful I'll be on CFC anymore before next week so I'll reveal the answer now:
It's The Tingler

woodelf Mar 07, 2008, 05:44 PM Bingo.
I had never heard of it until a friend let me borrow it. Hilarious in a stupid way.

Ozbenno Mar 07, 2008, 11:45 PM It is indeed correct so OPEN FLOOR it is.
woodelf Mar 11, 2008, 07:30 AM Just saw this today. Hot chick.

Izipo Mar 11, 2008, 07:30 AM EDIT : Woodelf was quicker...
Nice girl, but I don't know.
woodelf Mar 11, 2008, 07:37 AM She's topless for a good portion of the movie. And no panties in this scene...
nonconformist Mar 11, 2008, 08:36 AM Hitman ?

woodelf Mar 11, 2008, 11:38 AM Oh thanks a bunch noncon!! :gripe:
I figured the quick answer would evoke a passionate response from you Ram.
Izipo Mar 11, 2008, 12:13 PM @ Noncom :
@ Woodelf : Is the movie any good ?
woodelf Mar 11, 2008, 12:31 PM I'd recommend it for action and T&A.
Snerk Mar 11, 2008, 12:33 PM @ Woodelf : Is the movie any good ?She's topless for a good portion of the movie. And no panties in this scene...
New still!! [pissed]
Rambuchan Mar 12, 2008, 09:30 AM Yeah!
Let's have some T&A!
(especially now that Lambert has retired)
Marsden Mar 13, 2008, 10:04 AM Yeah!
Let's have some T&A!
Last time I tried to introduce some I was damned.
I'll go back to hell now.

woodelf Mar 13, 2008, 10:59 AM I have no idea.
Ozbenno Mar 13, 2008, 03:40 PM That's Nick Cave but no idea what movie it is.
nonconformist Mar 14, 2008, 12:54 PM Okay, you identified Nick Cave, anyone venture any other guesses?
I'll post another pic later.
nonconformist Mar 14, 2008, 04:38 PM Another (sub-par) pic:
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1392/1124502137_a2fd16b787_b.jpg
Niklas Mar 14, 2008, 05:20 PM That would be Peter Falk. Never saw him as anything but Colombo, and I can't recall seeing Nick Cave in any of those movies, but I certainly haven't seen all of them...
nonconformist Mar 15, 2008, 09:22 PM Couple more:

Snerk Mar 16, 2008, 09:25 AM A young Bruno Ganz i reckon, but i really have no idea..
nonconformist Mar 16, 2008, 02:00 PM Since none of you were able to ge tit (shame on you, Ram), I'll give the answer. It was the Wim wenders film Himmel Uber Berlin (AKA Wings of Desire) starring Bruno Ganz, Otto Sander, Peter Falk (as himself; an angel that has fallen from heaven) and Nick Cave as himself.
woodelf Mar 17, 2008, 05:27 AM New STILL!!!!!
Marsden Mar 17, 2008, 12:46 PM This shouldn't be too difficult.

woodelf Mar 17, 2008, 01:07 PM It is for me. :(
Conroe Mar 17, 2008, 01:43 PM Looks like one of the Planet of the Apes movies. Not sure which one, though. I'm fairly certain that it isn't the original one with Charlton Heston. Probably one of the sequels. :dunno: But, I'm not sure which one ... been way too long since I've seen them ...
IronMan2055 Mar 17, 2008, 02:59 PM Underneath the Planet of the Apes
Marsden Mar 18, 2008, 06:20 AM XXX of the Planet of the Apes is acceptable. Conroe and IronMan can fight it out.
Beneath the Planet of the Apes
Conroe Mar 18, 2008, 09:10 AM Conroe and IronMan can fight it out.Let IronMan take it! I really wasn't sure which one it was ...
Snerk Mar 18, 2008, 08:24 PM Well somebody take it! :trouble:
Conroe Mar 18, 2008, 09:05 PM :hmm: No word from IronMan ...
http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/662/vmsy400sx600sy6.jpg
Not sure why the photo is in B&W, because it was definitely a color film ...
Marsden Mar 19, 2008, 06:29 AM Nipsey Russel Vs. Veitnam?
Bartleby Mar 19, 2008, 12:39 PM :hmm: No word from IronMan...
He hasn't been around since the Great Magnetic Field incident... :scared:
Dunno the new still.
Conroe Mar 19, 2008, 02:35 PM Alrighty, here is another still then ... Once again, I've no idea why it is in B&W
http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/1498/vmsy400sx600vy4.jpg
Ozbenno Mar 19, 2008, 04:26 PM Is that Forrest Gump?
Conroe Mar 19, 2008, 04:43 PM No, that's Lt Dan :p
But you are correct about the name of the movie!
Ozbenno Mar 19, 2008, 05:51 PM How about this then...
http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/373/cfcuy8.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
Izipo Mar 20, 2008, 04:33 PM Somehow familiar... But I don't know it.

Snerk Mar 21, 2008, 01:43 PM Its The longest yard, no?
Ozbenno Mar 21, 2008, 04:37 PM It is indeed.

classical_hero Mar 24, 2008, 01:28 AM I want more still please.
Snerk Mar 24, 2008, 03:28 AM I find the abstinence of Ram slightly disturbing..

Izipo Mar 24, 2008, 04:15 AM Anyway, im thinking that Izipo probably knows this one.
Probably is the keyword here.
I recognize the actors, but can't remember the name of the movie.
Is it the one whith a spy couple ?
Snerk Mar 24, 2008, 04:48 AM Is it the one whith a spy couple ?
Ce n'est pas. :nope:
The film has a fairly controversial sex scene in it.
TheBladeRoden Mar 24, 2008, 04:50 AM does it involve actual eye poking?
Niklas Mar 24, 2008, 06:11 AM Is it that movie that runs backwards chronologically?
woodelf Mar 24, 2008, 06:24 AM Sweet jesus! Give us the name so I can rent it!
Snerk Mar 24, 2008, 06:42 AM Is it that movie that runs backwards chronologically?
Now we're getting somewhere!
Marsden Mar 24, 2008, 08:07 AM Was it really cold or was she just excited?
Oh, wait, this is a movie guess game?
A Bridge to Far?
Niklas Mar 24, 2008, 08:39 AM Then I suppose it's called Irreversible ?
classical_hero Mar 24, 2008, 08:46 AM Monica Bellucci gets better with age. :wow: I have heard of the controversy about this movie, but only after IMDBing it, I know the answer. One thing I did know about the movie in question, was that it started real life couple, Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel.
Marsden is not correct.
Marsden Mar 24, 2008, 08:50 AM Marsden is not correct.
Thanks for clearing that up.
classical_hero Mar 24, 2008, 08:56 AM Niklas is not correct either.
Niklas Mar 24, 2008, 09:00 AM Niklas is not correct either.
 Sure I am. :p
Or maybe you'd want it to be Irréversible ?
classical_hero Mar 24, 2008, 09:07 AM EDIT Nevermind.
Niklas Mar 24, 2008, 09:10 AM Then look at Irréversible and you'll find two of the stills that Sneerk posted here. :p
I know I'm correct, especially since Sneerk allowed that the movie runs backwards, so here goes:
http://xs225.xs.to/xs225/08131/vidquiz942.jpg
woodelf Mar 24, 2008, 09:15 AM That Monica is HOT!
Conroe Mar 24, 2008, 11:40 AM An Errol Flynn movie, eh? Looks a bit like Capt Blood ...
Niklas Mar 24, 2008, 12:22 PM :yup: I figured Conroe would know it easily. :)
Conroe Mar 24, 2008, 01:22 PM This should be an easy one ...

woodelf Mar 24, 2008, 06:28 PM Is that Robert Redford? (not the dead guy...)
Olav Mar 25, 2008, 02:26 AM http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/6731/quiz118wt8.jpg
:nope: It's an Italian explotation film. It stars american actors though.
Bartleby Mar 25, 2008, 09:46 AM Cannibal Apocalypse?
woodelf Mar 25, 2008, 10:27 AM No idea at all.
Izipo Mar 25, 2008, 12:07 PM Cannibal Apocalypse?
I'm thinking Cannibal holocaust myself, or one of those early 80's Italian horror movies.
nonconformist Mar 25, 2008, 01:49 PM Yeah, looks like Cannibal Holocaust to me.
Olav Mar 25, 2008, 03:51 PM It is indeed Cannibal Holocaust.
Izipo Mar 25, 2008, 04:04 PM Credit goes to Bartleby. I was struggling to remember the name (Cannibals on the loose ? Cannibal picnic ? Kudu ? Cannibalz rulz ?) and it popped in my head by association when I saw his post.
I'll go looking for something in case he doesn't show up.
Bartleby Mar 26, 2008, 06:34 AM
I just made Cannibal Apocalypse up!
You go, Izipo.
Izipo Mar 26, 2008, 06:46 AM Ah, Ok then.
Here's one :

I tried to stay loosely in the same genre and period. This one gave me nightmares for years...
Bartleby Mar 26, 2008, 02:01 PM I don't know it.
This one gave me nightmares for years...
Sissy! :p
Izipo Mar 26, 2008, 02:40 PM Sissy! :p
Well, I was a pre-teen at the time, so... I still have vivid memories of watching it in secret on my parents' Betamax (younger ones won't know what that is).
Anyway, I also have found a most interesting still of a style I am famous for (yes, it has boxes in it!), but I'll let you hang for a while... :p
Izipo Mar 27, 2008, 06:07 PM Well, sorry to disappoint you guys, but for some reason the still I had in mind only shows as an url. So instead I'll give you this, which should stir up some memories.

:dubious: Download -> imageshack -> link to it?
Bartleby Mar 28, 2008, 04:04 AM That second still looks vaguely familiar, but I can't place it.
woodelf Mar 28, 2008, 05:02 AM The kid looks familiar, but I can't place the movie.
Niklas Mar 28, 2008, 08:07 AM I don't suppose it's from It ? At least there's a clown there. :p
Izipo Mar 28, 2008, 08:50 AM :dubious: Download -> imageshack -> link to it?
Yeah I know, for some reason I couldn't save the image as a jpeg last night. Here it is now :

Xalles Mar 31, 2008, 07:06 PM Sorry Sneerk, I know I'm right. That scene was very memorable (and I confirmed it on IMDB ;)).

Marsden Apr 01, 2008, 06:53 AM I remember that movie, but I can't remember the name. Show some stills with the girl in it! The one his buddy is "spending time with" all night. :groucho:
classical_hero Apr 01, 2008, 07:09 AM I was thinking it was Superbad, but the hpotos do not match, so it is not that movie.
woodelf Apr 01, 2008, 07:10 AM Definitely the fat kid from Superbad.
Snerk Apr 01, 2008, 08:42 AM I know it, but sinse i went last ill see if someone else will spot it..
And btw no country for old men was indeed correct.

Olav Apr 03, 2008, 07:07 AM What is this "real still" you are talking about? Is it The Manchurian Candidate again?
Bartleby Apr 03, 2008, 07:14 AM I assumed the Manchurian Candidate still was a joke... :dunno:
Olav Apr 03, 2008, 07:23 AM Well, then I will take the open floor...
http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/8742/1887071ot4.jpg
Snerk Apr 03, 2008, 07:34 AM I dont know it but i want that hat.
nonconformist Apr 03, 2008, 08:53 AM Last Man Standing?
Olav Apr 03, 2008, 08:58 AM Last Man Standing it is! :goodjob:
Snerk Apr 03, 2008, 09:26 AM So, shall we just skip to a week ahead and declare an open floor then? :p
Bartleby Apr 03, 2008, 10:13 AM I suggest that Marsden step in with an unknown piece of shite from 1978.
nonconformist Apr 03, 2008, 11:59 AM You guys are all jackarses :p
http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/9775/pict1ew6.jpg
Bartleby Apr 03, 2008, 12:11 PM I know that...can't place it at the moment.
Marsden Apr 03, 2008, 12:41 PM I suggest that Marsden step in with an unknown piece of shite from 1978.
Another opportunity lost, Angels weep.
thetrooper Apr 03, 2008, 02:16 PM City of God?
.
Olav Apr 03, 2008, 02:19 PM I don't know it.
Hey troop. :salute: Back to start a new Norwegian Football thread? :p
Marsden Apr 03, 2008, 02:33 PM Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?
Hi Trooper :wavey: Smack Bartlelby for me when you get a chance.
nonconformist Apr 03, 2008, 04:29 PM Correct, trooper my long-lost concubine
Bartleby Apr 04, 2008, 04:29 AM Hope you'll stick around a bit, Troop. :)
At least long enough to post a new still?
Hi Trooper :wavey: Smack Bartlelby for me when you get a chance.
Fight yer own battles, chicken!! http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/196/doofjc1.gif
thetrooper Apr 05, 2008, 05:55 AM Hope you'll stick around a bit, Troop. :)
Afraid I won't so please continue without me.
IOW open floor!
Snerk Apr 05, 2008, 12:19 PM Well well well, look who's suddenly too high and mighty to post a new still..
:p:mad:Hiya troop.. :hatsoff:
Heres the next one, might be really hard or really easy. Its quite renowned.

Love Apr 05, 2008, 12:36 PM lol what the hell?
Izipo Apr 05, 2008, 12:45 PM Very easy, it is indeed very well known.
'Voyage dans la lune' by George Mélies.
Must be early XXth century. No older that 1910. Was the first movie to include special effects and some parts in color (painstakingly painted by hand each image).
Snerk Apr 05, 2008, 01:10 PM Spot on Izipo! Although it is in fact as old as 1902, it was the first science fiction film ever made. And as you mention it has some cutting edge special effects.
The film: http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/trip_to_the_moon.php
Izipo Apr 05, 2008, 02:05 PM 1902, heh. Amazing, when you think about it...
Thanks for the link btw, I had only seen parts of it before.
And now for something completely different :
http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/6900/movie43kb5.jpg
I guess it shouldn't be too hard. My girls are watching it right now, and I lack the time to find an obscure 1978 movie no one has seen apart Mardsen. ;)
Niklas Apr 05, 2008, 02:20 PM Is that Dennis Quaid?
Izipo Apr 05, 2008, 02:22 PM Nope
Not even close.
Niklas Apr 05, 2008, 02:26 PM Of course it isn't, it's Sam Neill of course, my mind moves in mysterious ways sometimes. Jurassic Park?
Izipo Apr 05, 2008, 02:31 PM Now, that's a great comeback !
It is indeed Jurassic Park.
I just loved that moment, when he first sees a dinausor upon entering the park. The music was great too. Yep, a great moment in movie history (seeing it at the theater in 1993 was a great experience, believe me).
Snerk Apr 05, 2008, 02:33 PM *hums theme tune..*
Niklas Apr 05, 2008, 04:07 PM Alright, I'll have to give Dennis Quaid a chance then:
http://xs226.xs.to/xs226/08146/quiz140.png
classical_hero Apr 06, 2008, 01:00 AM That's Kathleen Turner, but I have no idea what movie they were in together.
woodelf Apr 06, 2008, 03:07 PM Looks recent, but I have no idea.
Niklas Apr 06, 2008, 03:22 PM It is indeed Kathleen Turner. As for recent, well, more recent than Captain Blood anyway. (just as recent as Jurassic Park actually) ;)
Bartleby Apr 07, 2008, 03:55 AM I don't know it.
Izipo Apr 07, 2008, 05:37 AM Me neither.
Niklas Apr 07, 2008, 07:12 AM http://xs126.xs.to/xs126/08151/quiz531.png
I love this film.
Olav Apr 09, 2008, 06:21 AM I don't know it.
Marsden Apr 09, 2008, 06:46 AM Is it, Little Red X? Every time Niklas posts I only see a little X. :p including the deathmatch pics
Bartleby Apr 09, 2008, 07:14 AM I don't see Red X, I see this:
http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/2950/quiz531ul8.png
I don't know it.
Niklas Apr 09, 2008, 07:45 AM Marsden, you're the first person I hear about who has problems with xs.to. It's usually much more common with people having problems with imageshack. I can use imageshack for this thread for the future, but for the deathmatch I'll keep using xs.to, since Paul#42 can't see the imageshack pics.
Oh, and if no one gets it from these stills, no one will. The movie is Undercover Blues, if you haven't seen it I really recommend it for some easy comedy. Stanley Tucci is just brilliant.
OPEN FLOOR!
Olav Apr 13, 2008, 11:37 AM http://img385.imageshack.us/img385/807/quiz123xg3.jpg
Shouldn't be too hard... if you have seen the movie. :smug:
Love Apr 13, 2008, 02:24 PM oh brother where are thou?
Olav Apr 13, 2008, 03:31 PM Nein. :nope:
Ozbenno Apr 13, 2008, 05:48 PM There will be Blood?
Olav Apr 14, 2008, 01:08 AM That's the one!
Ozbenno Apr 14, 2008, 01:21 AM Should be easy enough.
http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/5125/cfcaz2.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
Love Apr 14, 2008, 08:20 AM Epic movie, if so open floor.
Marsden Apr 14, 2008, 08:24 AM I thought that was Willow. I'm probably wrong. I usually am. :p
Bartleby Apr 14, 2008, 09:30 AM I don't know it.
Izipo Apr 14, 2008, 10:54 AM Sure looks like Willow...
New still ?
Marsden Apr 14, 2008, 12:35 PM New still ?
Shall I call summon up another still from hell?
Love Apr 14, 2008, 12:37 PM i would like one from hollywood but whatever.
Marsden Apr 14, 2008, 01:22 PM i would like one from hollywood but whatever.
Same place different name. Meh.

This was abysmal. Enjoy!
Olav Apr 14, 2008, 02:09 PM Glitter?
xcl
Bartleby Apr 15, 2008, 04:08 AM I'm proud to say I don't know.
woodelf Apr 15, 2008, 06:57 AM I think Glitter is the only movie I know of with Mariah Carey
Marsden Apr 15, 2008, 07:02 AM Glitter?
xcl
Olav, you disappoint me.
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j61/dac18643/gltconfetti.jpg
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j61/dac18643/gltguys2.jpg
You are correct. So does this mean you follow Mariah Carey? Or you like movies aimed at 10 year old girls?
You too, Woodelf?
Olav Apr 15, 2008, 10:26 AM Olav, you disappoint me.
:(
So does this mean you follow Mariah Carey?
:nope:
Or you like movies aimed at 10 year old girls?
I thought it was aimed at men in the 40's?
You too, Woodelf?
Here's one for Woodelf:
http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/9374/quiz125ki3.jpg
woodelf Apr 15, 2008, 11:28 AM Now I never saw this movie, but wasn't it Crossroads or Cross-something?
Olav Apr 15, 2008, 11:31 AM It is indeed Crossroads. I haven't seen it either.
And to clean my name, I haven't seen Glitter either... :sheep:
woodelf Apr 15, 2008, 11:35 AM I never saw Glitter either, but if Mariah Carey and Britney ever got naked together in a movie I'd watch that.
New stills from a movie my wife and I watched this weekend.
http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh153/woodelf_cfc/BG.jpg
http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh153/woodelf_cfc/JC.jpg
Damn eerie movie that was shockingly good, but I like twisted shet.
Snerk Apr 15, 2008, 07:48 PM I dont know it.
woodelf Apr 16, 2008, 05:30 AM One more still that should show the main character more clearly.
http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh153/woodelf_cfc/JC2.jpg
Xalles Apr 16, 2008, 08:07 AM The Number twenty-f***ing three
woodelf Apr 16, 2008, 09:07 AM You're up Xalles!
Xalles Apr 16, 2008, 09:26 AM Here's the only decent still I could find* from this movie. It should be enough if you've seen it.
http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/4425/moviequizrz7.jpg
*I didn't look very hard. :p
Olav Apr 16, 2008, 11:38 AM I don't know it.
It looks like Jackie Chan, though.
Bartleby Apr 16, 2008, 11:40 AM Jackie Chan movies are like Bond movies for me--they all blur into one.
woodelf Apr 16, 2008, 11:55 AM Rush Hour X or the one with Owen Wilson...
sepamu92 Apr 16, 2008, 05:32 PM Legend of the Drunken Master?
Xalles Apr 16, 2008, 06:04 PM YES! :goodjob:
Here's a bit of trivia about that movie (from IMDB):
"The seven-minute fight at the end of the film took nearly four months to shoot. Chan indicated that one day's filming typically produces three seconds of usable film."
Your turn!
sepamu92 Apr 16, 2008, 07:43 PM http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa275/sepamu92/movie01.jpg
Conroe Apr 17, 2008, 10:18 AM Looks like Forrest Gump watching Elvis on the television ...
OPEN FLOOR!
Izipo Apr 17, 2008, 11:23 AM I totally agree, it is Forrest Gump, so here I am taking the floor.
Here, should be easy, one of my favorite movies.
http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/4571/movie44ay3.jpg
Lekkric Apr 17, 2008, 11:33 AM The Princess Bride?
Izipo Apr 17, 2008, 11:34 AM Told you it was easy...
Your turn now, and welcome to our humble place of quizzing.
Marsden Apr 17, 2008, 11:47 AM I totally agree, it is Forrest Gump, so here I am taking the floor.
Here, should be easy, one of my favorite movies.
http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/4571/movie44ay3.jpg
That was a great movie.
Lekkric Apr 17, 2008, 03:43 PM Since i'm an idiot and don't know how to post a pic, open floor.
Snerk Apr 17, 2008, 10:56 PM Try using http://imageshack.us/ , its quite simple. Click browse to locate your picture, then just click host and you'll get a link you can copy directly into a post to post your still.
And dont worry about being an idiot, you'll fit in just perfect in this thread! :yeah:
kuukkeli Apr 18, 2008, 12:05 PM I'll make a grand return with another oddity and claim the open floor:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v514/paha_kuukkeli/movie001.jpg
nonconformist Apr 18, 2008, 12:17 PM The Rise of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars?
kuukkeli Apr 18, 2008, 12:57 PM The Rise of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars?
No. The movie in question is about a decade newer than Ziggy Stardust.
nonconformist Apr 18, 2008, 02:41 PM But is that David Bowie?
kuukkeli Apr 18, 2008, 03:01 PM But is that David Bowie?
No. I believe the budget of this film is slightly below what's needed for mr. Bowie. ;)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v514/paha_kuukkeli/movie002.jpg
EDIT: More hints. The plot has something to do with the powder in the next still and UFOs.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v514/paha_kuukkeli/movie003.jpg
RE-EDIT: Come on! I can't find any good stills that would give additional hints so I must give more textual clues.
- Film's name is, at least according to some reviews, a metaphor for heroin
- Film's name also refers to certain lightning effect
- To my knowledge, it's some sort of cult classic and a so called midnight movie hit.
If no one gets it before I go to sleep I'll give up. Impress me people, you still have about 7 hours :whipped:
kuukkeli Apr 19, 2008, 08:32 PM Argh! I just noticed this has been up just about a day so I'll you guys a little more time. Found one more still (which probably won't do you any good):
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v514/paha_kuukkeli/movie004.jpg
And couple of hints to go with the lady:
- Film's budget was around $500,000
- Aliens are interested in orgasms
- There's trailer in YouTube with lots of tags that can be founded from my posts
nonconformist Apr 19, 2008, 09:59 PM Hmmmm, complete guess (I don't even know if this is a movie)
Perfect Day? As in Lou Reed?
kuukkeli Apr 20, 2008, 05:11 AM Hmmmm, complete guess (I don't even know if this is a movie)
Perfect Day? As in Lou Reed?
No. I guess I'll just have to accept that no one else has seen this. Back in the day this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9-n9gpFVpk) was quite common trailer in rental tapes here in Finland.
Anyways, the film is Liquid Sky (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085852/) and the floor is open.
Bartleby Apr 21, 2008, 06:32 AM Well, for now it seems imageshack doesn't want to cooperate, so I'll give you a line of dialogue instead:
What are you rebelling against, Johnny?
Whaddya got?
woodelf Apr 21, 2008, 07:49 AM A dialogue movie contest would be interesting.
No idea about this one even though it seems familiar.
Bartleby Apr 21, 2008, 01:03 PM Now I can put up a pic:
http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/372/rockyhorrorpictureshowrq8.jpg
Olav Apr 21, 2008, 01:37 PM That must be Brando in The Wild One.
Bartleby Apr 21, 2008, 01:37 PM :goodjob:
Floor is yours.
Olav Apr 21, 2008, 01:50 PM http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/5903/quiz126zf6.jpg
Ozbenno Apr 21, 2008, 04:51 PM Taxi Driver?
Olav Apr 22, 2008, 01:32 AM :yup: You nailed it!
Ozbenno Apr 22, 2008, 02:17 AM How about this one then?
http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/9036/cfcaa7.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
Marsden Apr 22, 2008, 06:28 AM I could just say "I don't know" but, Attack of the Foot Clan?
Ozbenno Apr 22, 2008, 06:32 AM Sadly no..
