I'm having 2 problems, the first one is that i found out about the game from friends, so naturally i'd like to play with them, but I can't because I don't have the "internet games" button that they told me to click, what's the problem?

My other problem is that when i hit lan games (not when i start the game) it asks to install patch 1.74 so I wait awhile for the patch to install and than it's finally finished. The game restarts, and if i go back to lan games, it asks for the patch to be installed again! Whats going on!:confused:

you need to DL the mac 1.74 patch (try the great and powerful goog), install, then start civ
the internet choice should then work just fine
aspyr didn't hook up the update function for macs, it still DLs the windows update (doh!)

as a mac user you will be limited as to which mods work on a mac (see pinned thread at the top of this forum)

I am assuming that you are playing CIVanilla, not CIVVarlords. Warlords needs a patch to be in synch with the PC players. It has been promised for months and months. Don't hold your breath. Brad we miss you! Hope life at Apple is good and you are settling in well. Aspyr...
