www.cantr.net - Anbody played tha game already?

It is really amazing how a simple text game can swallow hundreds of players all over the world but the idea is different than everywhere else. You're not automatically a ruler like in most of other titles. Here, to be the ruler, you must convince other real people to follow you... anyhow ;) If you succeed yo're able to give orders to even hundreds of other players

But is it really important to rule? Maybe it is just better to run a business or to build a sloop and discover new land... and to die there eaten by a cheetah.

I would really recomend this game to any person who like rpg or just feel strong enough to force their ideas to others.

I doubt the popularity of this game when this thread is allready on page 1 of a google search for Cantr II

Numbers of players don't make a game good. Battlemaster has 1000-1100 people logging in every day with a total 1600 accounts (I believe there is a pruning system), yet it is great fun with great people.

But with a highly developed RP game I'd expect to find lot's of random links concerning the game.
