Rules and stuff

1. Post your entries in the thread to submit. NO private messages plz.

2. You may submit as many entries as you like, but don't copy anyone's entry! If you do, NONE of your entries will be chosen to win. (Like you could pull it off without me knowing :smug:)

3. The best caption, the second best caption, and third best caption will be honored. If I like a lot of them, I may feature a few honorable mentions. Keep in mind that I will NOT choose a winner because I like them or anything. I will also not ignore submissions because I dislike anyone.

4. If you have a picture you would like to submit for the contest, feel free to post it. Photoshopped or original, I'll take them all, but KEEP IT CLEAN.

5. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT copy any lines from any other caption contest. Nor should you take pictures from another caption contest.

6. Every week, the winners will be announced and the new picture will be posted the next day.

7. Every fifth contest, the winner will be decided by popular vote. Simply state which of the three finalists you want to win. DO NOT vote for someone who is not a finalist!

Hello to all, here is some information about the secret I have planned for the fifth contest. :mischief:

It appears, as some of you may have noticed, that some other caption contests have shown up after the establishment of my own contest. This I don't mind, because they all add even more humor to this website. However, I will make an attempt to distinguish this contest from the others with this secret. Obviously, I can't tell you much because, after all, it IS a secret :D. Besides, after posting it on here, you can bet that everyone is going to take my idea and use it. :(. However, I will offer this ONE hint, and if any of you are smart enough and guess what it is DON'T blab and ruin it.

The fifth picture will go up as normal, but I will release the results on Friday rather than Saturday.

To be honest, I like yours as it is now, since you always post good pictures and you remember to post the winners on Saturday every week. I'm not sure you could trust every winner of a caption competition to do that. ;) It works for Swedishguy's competition because there's a shorter interval between putting the picture up and the winners being announced, so even the laziest CFCer can be bothered to update with the names of the winners.
