It is 1 turn per day, 1.5 turns per day, 2 turns per day, 2.5 turns per day, 3 turns per day, a nice spread of values.

I prefer a run-off between options, since otherwise we may see positioning voting.

Again, foolishness. There should be no maximum. Let the game circumstances determine what we get done, not some blind rule.
