I just bought Civ 4 Gold and attempted to install Civ 4 patchs v1.61 and v1.74 and it says I don't have Civ 4 installed. Why is this? Do I need to change the folder name from "Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Gold" to "Sid Meier's Civilization 4"?

gold is already patched to 1.74 and 2.13 so no need to patch. The patches are not programmed to see gold edition - so they won't find it :)
