Well, has anyone heard of WinPOS. I see retail stores use it all the time as the OS for their registers.
What does it stand for?
I have one good guess :D

POS is a real POS. I wonder if they knew what POS stands for when they created/named it. Knight-Dragon Jul 10, 2002, 01:43 AM Originally posted by gonzo_for_civ I like POS!!! POS is a real POS. I wonder if they knew what POS stands for when they created/named it. Sure they do. POS is a standard term in retailese. I'm sure MS did their homework a bit before coming up with names, esp for corp products. Still some of their product names suck.... |
