On the forum-jump drop-down, is it possible to add something that tells you which fora have new posts?

Thunderfall Jul 09, 2002, 09:13 AM It wouldn't help much, because chance is all/most forums will have new posts. :) Dell19 Jul 09, 2002, 09:20 AM After awhile the forum refreshes itself so that it marks all threads as read. This means that only some forums would have new posts, which could be useful. Knight-Dragon Jul 09, 2002, 11:32 AM The way I do it is to check back to the main forum page and the last timed post for those forums I'm interested in. ;) A bit awkward at first but had gotten used to it by now. That's also the way I do it, just bookmark that page and everytime you visit you see in which forums there have been new posts. Works very well! ainwood Jul 09, 2002, 02:13 PM Originally posted by Thunderfall It wouldn't help much, because chance is all/most forums will have new posts. :) It would for us people living in Europe! During the mornings, it can be very quiet. Originally posted by Knight-Dragon The way I do it is to check back to the main forum page and the last timed post for those forums I'm interested in. Dell19 Jul 10, 2002, 08:25 AM Even when the forum is busy, some forums do not get posted in for quite awhile. |
