This is from the Conquests scenario in Japan.

Chapter 1: The crowning

We all knew the man. He had slaughtered scores of our kin, and now he was rushing towards our village. We quickly gathered men to defend our Ainu tribe, but it was for naught. He killed the first line of men, and had barely rested before taking out the second. He stole money from the village coffers, and left. But the village would never be the same.

In a friendlier Ainu village, dawn breaks.

"Quickly, he is coming!" Everyone rushed into their homes except for one family; one man and woman stood outside. The man entered the village, and every eye watched him. He walked straight to the couple. "What are you doing outside?," he asked. "We would like to join your empire.," came the short reply. "Very well, join the Iwagawa.," and then they were gone.

Upon return, everyone praises the man's accomplishments. He had singlehandedly dispersed a barbaric tribe and recruited people to join the Iwagawa. He looked upon the hopeful faces around him, and declared, "I AM YOUR DAIMYO!"

Good story so far. :3 Would be even better with screenshots!

Now some of the other rivals in Japan might laugh at how you could only get two people from the village to join your empire, but those daimyo forget: Every great empire began with two people, who had a child, who founded that empire. ;3
