Yes , I know it's not a playable civ , nor is it qualified . And this is about WHAT IF Korea was in what could be a UP and UHV ?

So guys , what do think :

UP : Power of Education? Defense?

UHV :have 5000:culture: by1000 AD
Never loose a city to Chinese/Japanese/Barbarians til 1200
Built at least 1 buddhist/confucian cathedral

The general opinon is that, if Korea were to be added, they would have to be able to finish their UHV without building more cities than just Seoul (or else Asia would have to be expanded as Europe has been).

Thus:

Spawn date: 2300 BCE

Unique Power:
Power of Writing: +25% science in capital

Unique Historical Victory:
1. Be the first to discover Paper and Printing Press
2. No non-Korean culture in Korea and no cities lost in 1400 CE (after Mongol invasions)
3. No non-Korean culture in Korea and no cities lost in 1960 CE (after Korean War)

But that seems like an awfully slow and boring game.

I needed something other than Printing Press, and paper was introduced in Korea very early. Perhaps Alphabet would work better. Although the Hangul alphabet came much later than the Phoenician alphabet, it was developed more or less independently (unlike subsequent alphabets in the Middle East and Mediterranean based on or inspired by the Phoenician alphabet).
