There is an option in Civ 2 to allow the computer players to restart in another location once they have been killed. This can be annoying to have on as if the map is is mostly uncolonised then we could have to kill the same enemy several times. If we have it on, it could make it more fun by giving us more enemies to kill. You decide!

If I kill them I want them to remain dead! Restarts off.

OFF! OFF! OFF!
There is nothing worse thankilling an enemy only for them to reappear later in the game in some awkward place where you can't reach them....

Off!
Having to kill the blue civ three times can get annoying/tedious/boring/resource consuming...

Off. I personally consider this game a good one for people to actually learn from as we play, but if restarts are on, tactics will change in a lot of ways (at least they should change, LOL).

Restarts off. As restarted tribes have almost nothing worth conquering, they're just annoyances.
