A new forum for the next Civ2 Demo Game has been created as requested. :) I am making it a sub-forum of the Demo Game forum for now, but will move it to the main forum page once DoM finishes moving some threads to the new forum.

The old Civ2 Demo Game forum will be archived...

The Threads are moved and eveyrthing is going forward well. As soon as all the parameters are decided the new game can start.

This would be a good time to remind everyone that Kev and duke o' york are deputy Mods in this forum. That means what they say should be considered as coming directly from a Mod (and will be backed up by myself and TF). They have all the power of a Mod without actually being one.

Remember, you are still bound by all the forum rules (http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumRules.shtml) while playing this game. Please read them to help avoid any conflicts in the future.

Good job guys! This makes looking for the threads involved in this demo game much easier.

I'm not part of the Civ2 Democracy game, but I think it might be more helpful if you put the orginal Democracy game as a sub-forum in this one. Unless of course theirs something I don't know about.

The original game is done. We shouldn't be needing to do anything with it, so there's no reason to leave it 'live'. :)

They might want to look at it for memories or for help incase thay need to look back at something. Through like I said... I play the Civ3 demogame not the Civ2 demogame ;)

It's still on the site, it's just archived. So, everyone can still go and look at it, but it makes it so I don't have to go through and lock every single thread in there. :)

We would never throw away the first ever democracy game, never, ever, ever. ;)

I wouldn't want to throw it away either. Just set it up with the collectable's and dust it off occasionaly.

Can forums get dusted? And if so do they even collect dust?

I think they get dusted off whenever the forum crashes, so they're fine. ;)
