Nice Job. I like it when people do units about obscure things.

That's great... can't wait to replace the Iron Cross of the German Albatros for the much more accurate Iron Cross of the Austrian Albatros.

@All - Thanks

@Chugginator & mamba - If you guys have problems with adding these in, you're definitely not going to like what I post tomorrow - I wouldn't recommend you post any updates for your mods any time soon. It's time I get some of these units out there.

No worries, I have no problems adding them in, and I will like what you post tomorrow. I already decided to not do any updates before you are done posting.

I assume we still get your reskins (you already said so) and I do hope for a bunch of tanks (saw them on pics and I assume they are yours) ;)

The more the better, I do not mind having to work them in :)

Well I'm going to upload the last version of the non-altered gameplay edition fairly soon, and then I'm going to add in all of snafu's WW1 and modern models for the ultimate mod.

PS. You do this because you know how I much I hate XML work. :lol:

My biggest 'problem' with Snafus excellent WWI work is that it's simply "too much" to put into a "generic" Civ4 mod (like my own). I can justify ONE bipline fighter and ONE biplane bomber for each country, but Snafu has made so many excellent models that a lot of countries have multiple excellent models to choose from. Makes it hard on a guy like me to pick which ones are going to have to collect dust (does Germany get the Fokker DR1, the Fokker Eindecker, the Albatros DIII, the Fokker DVII, etc, etc).

I've figured out one new trick to help... but that's about it.

Maybe I'll PM you... and you can take the secret to the Gulf with you.

First I want to say these are some great units, :goodjob: but how can I put different mod components like civs & units (like these) into a mod so that I can load and unload the mod, without putting them in, or editing an existing mod or folder that came with my Civ4 BTS? :confused:

By creating your own mod and editing its XML. There is no other way (other than using a mod which includes the units already).

Thanks for the info and the link:). I guess I'll have to learn how to make a mod, eventually, it seems quite complex for now.

Ho hum, made some buttons for several of the vehicles.

Wrong thread, this should go to the vehicle pack, not the 3rd aircraft pack ;)

Thanks :)
