By any chance does anyone know a trick to make a few civ's the same colour?
In my mod i want to coalitions to have 2 diffrent colours, so you can clearly see on the map whose winning, and have the thrilled touch.
Anyone?

Go to \Art\units\Palettes, and copy the color you want (always remember to backup your original files), insert and rename it with the name of the color you're replacing. They're all named something like ntpXX.
For instance, copy ntp23, insert, and rename it ntp02 (replacing ntp02). Then you'll have two civs with ntp23's color. You can find out what colour is which by counting in flixter.
Hope it helps. :)

Can't you just set each teams colours in the editor? :)

Yes however there are not 2 colors the same in the standard palette. So that anyone that plays your scenario has the proper palette make a folder \Conquests\Scenarios\Scenario Name\Art\Units\Palettes.

Maybe for gameplay purposes one could assign all the shades of one colour to one team and all the shades of the other to the next team, so there will not be so much confusion but you will be able to tell the area covered just as easily?
Plus I remember an error happening me before when two civs share the one colour- the game sometimes protrays the LH of the other civ rather than the correct one. For example I was talking to England and the Ottoman LH came up, greyed over, and static.

Which is why making a palette folder and renaming the same color cimbri wrote would work.

Whereas changing colour in the editor; both civ colour and civ colour doesnt work, the civ shows up diffrent colour in game even if you havent set it anywhere.
