View Full Version : Using Batch Gen for Poser 7

Plotinus recommended a program called BatchGen for generating Poser renders over night.

I got the program, however, when I set up the python script and the program to automatically render the frames it renders them way too large. It uses the main window to render the figure. Does anyone know how to get it to render just a 100x100 shrunken version of the animation?

Thanks.

I assume you have saved individual files, one for each direction? If so, in Poser, for each file, go Render->Render Dimensions... and set it for 100x100. Also, in the main Pose window, click on the small Render tab over the preview image. You'll see a drop down menu for either FireFly or Poser4...select Poser4 to speed the process. Then, resave the file. BatchGen uses whatever the settings are in the file it calls up. Next time you save the 8 directional files, make sure you have set the Render Dimension and Render engine before saving each of them to save a bit of time ;) I hope that makes sense...let me know if it doesn't!
