Hikaro's temple with the gorgeous colors gets my vote. By itself it makes me want to play his mod.

Tough field. Best over all quality from top to bottom in a very long time. I am rooting for a never seen before 4 way tie, because they are all so good that they deserve to win.

Taken as a whole, blue monkey's set is the probably the most impressive. But, voting the single most impressive graphic has me voting for Hikaro, but only because I can only vote for one.

I agree, tough choice. I went with Varwnos' cities but it was either/or any of the others.

This is diabolical, any one of those would win if they didn't come out in the same month. I really wish I could vote for all 4 of them. :hammer2:

I had a helluva time trying to decide between aaglo's and Hikaro's stuff.

But all of it looks great!!

I'm only the 3rd person to go aaglo?

Aaglo for me too, but I agree that all of these are quite splendid.

After vainly scrolling throug 5 times awaiting inspiration I went with Blue Monkey in hopes that he'll inspire a mod.

Well, crap. I can`t decide. :wallbash:Go find a homeless orc or two, set them up with accounts, then tell them who to vote for. I'm sure they'd do it for a couple of elf bacon, lettuce, & tomato sandwiches.

I may vote for Blue Monkey.... After all, his tech pack has the only tech that would allow one to build the sunken city of R'lyeh and summon the Dread Cthulhu. (namely Non-Euclidean geometry)

And I voted for Blue Monkey in the hope that the others already working on the Steampunk mod (http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=272) will be inspired by his work!

I voted for aaglo, though I was very hard-pressed to not vote for BlueMonkey massive graphics pack. That indeed sets a very destinctive mood and the pics used are all high quality and very vivid. I guess what swayed me slightly towards aaglo's city was the fact that he created a whole damn city, for crying out loud. Amazing stuff this month guys, truly splendid!

I don't know which one I wouldn't vote for, so I guess I'll have to vote based on some form of project allegiance system. The problem is, my loyalties lie both with the WH40K mod and the Steampunk mod... But then that really trippy splash for the temple... and those wonderful cities...

I wish I could work out what to vote for :(

What?! Aaglo's a girl?! Or did I misinterpret that bolded he in my own post? I believe my image of the world is about to implode!!!

I apologize for any confusion my post caused! :crazyeye:

OH!!! Well, don't worry, since I was implying that you hadn't done so. I maybe should have added that his just looked a little more detailed (which is only due to it being zoomed in so drastically, not because your's lacks detail in any way). Though I would have thought it a very nice touch if there had been little cars (or speeders, etc.) zipping around on the streets as well as some pedestrians traversing the pavement. Then again, I'm not versed with WH40k and for all I know, the city is meant to look that sterile and desolate.

And just for the record...aaglo is a guy, right?

He is a machine.

Aren't all the creators? Or are they sort of like the Borg (part machine, part human or whatever the species may be)?

I believe the latter is most fitting when describing most of our members. I mean seriously, they show human elements most of the time, but when it sometimes comes to creating stuff, some just show that they are semi-8-core super computers...I on the other hand am more like an old first generation IBM PC.

Creation-wise I show that I'm the Altair 8800 that got sh*t canned in 1980.

I always thought of Aaglo as concept rather than something physical. That's what I voted for anyway.

A most interesting take on the matter...most probably also the most valid. Can a physical human being really create that fast? Hardly!!! The same goes for that Sandris fellah! Definitely an Android or super-powered artificial intelligence running that guys user profile. ;)

Hmmm.... Maybe Aaglo is actually one of the Great Old Ones....

In that case maybe it would be a good idea to get on his good side (Ia! Ia! Aaglo Ftagahn! Ia! Ia! Aaglo Ftagahn!...) :joke:

Thank you to everyone who voted for me. And I have to say, Hikaro, aaglo, & Varwnos all are ongoing inspirations. They really raise the bar; I really only expected to stay respectably close in the voting.
