To save time, I'll try to be brief but clear: I have two Uranium hills (with mines and roads on them) in my territory, fully under my control, yet I have no access to Uranium.

Beyond the Sword, latest patch, "Civilization IV Complete" (the EU collection).
Pretty much all of the relevant techs... except Fission.

Am I being an idiot here? I see no dependencies that aren't being met, nor any civics or buildings that preclude availability of Uranium. Am I doingx it wrongz?

Physics reveals Uranium which can then be mined, but Fission is required to "use" it. Lots of people are confused by this...

Also did you check to see if you traded them all away? I did that once...

Are your roads connected from the mine to a city? (Yes, I've left out the connecting square in several games. I know I'm an idiot :p )

I forgot to add in my first post that everyone should feel free to preface their post with "you're an idiot," but I guess it goes without saying at this point. It's just that I could've sworn there was no mention of this in Fissions descrip; I just need to read harder.
