So I changed the graphics for buddhism to the catholicism icons from OMENS, and in the civilopedia it comes up fine (little cross graphic) and also in the religions menu, but when I put catholicism in a city, the little buddhism icon still spears in the city, how do i make this come up as the catholic cross symbol?

I think you misunderstand, I have the files, they're all there, I don't need to make new ones, but the game just isn't accepting the image for when "Catholicism" is in a city, and replaces it with the buddhism one, as i overwrote buddhism for catholicism.

Where is the file in the XML that tells the game to display a picture if a religion is in a city? That's the TAG i need to change

I think he undestood. Maybe you didn't. The icon in the city comes from the gamefont files not from the dds icon which might be used somewhere else. You need to edit the gamefont, replacing the buddhism icon with the new one, to make it look right.

The pedia graphic comes from a dds button. Not sure where - probably BTS Atlas. But i guess you know :p
The little icons in cites, scoreboard and city bars come from the gamefont file.
Assets\res\Fonts\GameFont*
You need to edit those, to make it look right. Thats why he pointed to the Font editor.
