I'd like to know the name of that too.

And while someone is at it, could you tell me the name of the music you hear when talking to the Dutch?

Infortunatly, i can't tell you one or the other, all i know is that the portuguese civ music is somehow associated with the portuguese tradition of the "Tunas" (university bands), etc.

I think I remember a Portugese user by the name of r_rolo saying that it's a set of songs made specifically for Civ4. It's not a pre-existing song that Firaxis stole from somewhere.

No.... pre 3.13 one was a medlish thing played with a lute. The 3.13 one ( it is not the same ;) ) I really don't know the name, but clearly is more realistical.... maybe Coimbra's Fado played Tuna's style? I don't have the manual ( for the credits ) in sight ... maybe it is there, in the music section.

English

Yes, im almost sure that it's a traditional Coimbra fado song, quite well know actually, but unfortunatly i dont know its name.

But some songs are traditional and are "reproduced" in the game, for exemple the spanierds song ("malaguenha")
