Is there any way I can play a randomly generated RoM map with more than 18 civs? I want to include all the extra civs from warlords and BTS.

Kalimakhus Apr 17, 2008, 04:23 AM My add-on allows up to 34 civs. It includes Revolution and DCM. Link in my signature. If you don't like to use my Add-On, just get any DLL that allows more civs and drop it in the assets folder for RoM that is all it takes. sickre Jun 30, 2008, 10:03 AM What a shame your mod isn't being updated - it would be good if this feature was integrated into the initial ROM download. zappara Jun 30, 2008, 10:51 AM The reason why it's not integrated to RoM main download was Beyond the Sword update, I knew there was going to be update to BtS and if I had merged Kalimakhus addon, I couldn't have converted RoM so fast to BtS 3.17 - we could be months away now from RoM 2.2 patch if it had RevolutionDCM merged permanently to it earlier. We will probably see patches to other mod components later this summer and I'm sure someone will make again 34 civ DLL file too that I can merge again to RoM. The DLL i had in RoM 2.12 was made by Lt Bob but he hasn't updated his DLL file yet. Once there's such DLL file available, I'll make patch for RoM. Solver is also making unofficial DLL patches so there's lot of going on in this modding area. So for now you'll have to enjoy RoM games with just maximum of 18 civs. sickre Jul 04, 2008, 01:10 AM So for now you'll have to enjoy RoM games with just maximum of 18 civs. Ah really? I copied in a 34 civ DLL, I can create a game with 34 players, but I get no HUD. This must have been the cause... maybe I can reverse back to a 3.13 patch and mods. zappara Jul 04, 2008, 05:07 AM You can use now Psyringe's 40 Civ DLL (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=6991623&postcount=196) with RoM 2.2. sickre Jul 05, 2008, 09:32 AM Game crashes upon loading the mod now :S Suppenknecht Jul 08, 2008, 03:40 AM Game crashes upon loading the mod now :S Itworks fine u ahve to put the dll under Civ4/Bts/mod/Rise of Mankind/Assets zappara Jul 09, 2008, 08:29 AM Lt Bob has updated his 40 Civ dll and it can be downloaded here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=234779). Psyringe removed his temporary dll after Lt. Bob updated his DLL. Correct version that you need to download is v5.0. Unzip it to '..\Mods\Rise of Mankind\Assets'. This new DLL will be included in next RoM patch. |
