I got a version of Civ4 on CD-rom that i got from a "collectors box". This is all good, except i want to be able to play some of the many mods. I think fall from heaven is the one with magic and other cool nerdy stuff. :scan:

Anyways i think it's the basic Civ4 with no updates (not sure about this though) - let's just say it is - what do i need to run out and and buy to be able to use the mods requiring BtS? A friend of mine had a BtS upgrade/update CD that i tried but it didn't work - so either you need some previous expansions to make it work or it was some kind of demo or something - i don't know.

I'm usually not dim-witted, but i can't seem to figure out what i need to do to make this work. If i have to buy a full Civ4/BtS it's cool - but i just need to know what is needed to get this mod up and running.

Can anyone please help?

You should just be able to buy just the BTS expansion pack and install it. You do not need Warlords (or anything other than vanilla CIV) installed for BTS to work.

Why can't you just download them from this site? I'm almost positive FFH in here somewhere.

The cd? It came in a box with all 4 Civilizations including a booklet with interviews of the creators (among cid himself) and a Civ cardgame... not sure what you want the picture for - i mean did i write something wierd (perhaps the fact it was a dvd and not a cd? :) Or perhaps you ment the game my friend brought over - i don't have it since i couldn't get it to work.

Anyways thanks everybody for the feedback :)
