Which have burned you the most with bad RAM and lack of support? taper Apr 07, 2008, 11:21 AM I almost always get Corsair ValueSelect. Never had a problem. There's lots of other good brands, and a few bad ones. I've had alot of trouble with Kingston flash cards at work, it's a different line than RAM, but there's enough other choices. Mise Apr 07, 2008, 12:30 PM I always just buy the cheapest I can find. The way I figure, its cheaper to replace the RAM after a year or so (by which time it'll have come down in price anyway) than it is to buy good quality RAM first time round. Comraddict Apr 07, 2008, 08:34 PM Kingston is pretty safe choice. stickciv Apr 07, 2008, 08:44 PM Corsair, Kingston, OCZ, Geil, A-Data. Just look at the best rated RAM on newegg and the brands that make those are your answer. Fetus4188 Apr 07, 2008, 11:08 PM I've been using G.SKILL for a few years now with no problems. Good price and they look nice to boot :) GVBN Apr 07, 2008, 11:25 PM Cheapest RAM Speedo Apr 07, 2008, 11:42 PM G.Skill, Corsair, Kingston. PrinceScamp Apr 08, 2008, 02:28 AM I've gone with Kingston twice and so far it's performed really well :) GrandAdmiral Apr 14, 2008, 03:49 PM Corsair. OCZ is probably the best for reaching the highest levels of performance and because of that they are not known for reliability. Corsair tends to wait a little longer to release a sticks at new speed and latency for the sake of reliability.
