Routine patrol.
Artwork by TopGun.

The RAF's primary interceptor during the 1950's, the Swift continued the glorious tradition of the Spitfires...

Download it here. (http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=9050)

Good Recon Fighter Aircraft...:goodjob:
The Supermarine Swift was Britain's first Swept Back wing design that was intended as a high altitude interceptor but due to discovered design flaws, proved better as a low altitude Recon Fighter. Design problems that caused several fatalities, especially due to Flameouts were corrected in the series such as the Mk 5 but it served mainly as a low altitude Recon Fighter until the mid 70"s when it was replaced by other better Aircraft such as the Hawker Hunter.

I love all these 1950s planes coming out. I think 1950s aviation has sort of always been relatively neglected when compared to modern jets. :goodjob:
