Slowly moving up to Immortal level difficulty, beat it a few times in warlords but just started playing again. As you can see it's 410 bc, I've got decent specialist economy slowly transitioning into a cottage economy. 5 cities with 44 science a turn isnt too bad. Ive got plenty of health recources for my time, but I only have access to silver and wine for happiness, I have monarchy though. Ive got around 10 or so phalanx in my productive city built up, costing 8 gold a turn to maintain.

Basically, I was thinking of moving south to secure the silk and gems that russia is sitting on, unfortunately I cant see what russias capital looks like but it looks somewhat juicy from the flood plains you can sort of see in the fog. On the other hand, it being immortal Im a tad worried about expanding any further than 5 cities for the time being.

Just looking for a little advise Im having a hard time making a decision on what my next move should be.
