I have CivIV vanilla for Mac, but wish I could play the snazzy expansions (BTS) and the snazzy mods.
Do you all prefer playing through Mac OS, or do you prefer using Bootcamp or Parallels and a Windows version of the game?
If you do run through Bootcamp, what is performance like while doing so?

Civ4 on windows runs superior in almost any way, it is even faster on the same computer.

The only drawback is that you need to restart, and need go bare windows for a couple of mouse clicks.
And of course that you need a windows license in addition to a license to Civ4. (but if you already have one for whatever cause or reason then thats not a problem)

Eh, I already have Bootcamp and Windows XP on my MacBook; I just get furious whenever I have to switch out of Mac OS. I feel like a slimy traitor, or like I'm visiting some low-rent prostitute or nanny instead of my statuesque girlfriend, y'know?
Heck, the only time I've ever needed to actually use Window on my mac was when I had to crunch animal population data in a biostats program that only ran on.....DOS. :crazyeye: Last year. I didn't even know that DOS existed anymore. I'm near 30, so I was okay with it, but I know that there were some kids in class that were like ".....whaaaat? WTF is DOS? LOL"

Thanks for the info, though. :)
