I see there are several utilities out there which help in map creation but I'm wondering which one is best. I want to be able to create a map from scratch according to my specifications. copying and pasting would be nice and I want to be able to place rivers with ease. any suggestions?

;/ this thread makes me sad. I'd love MapView could do that by now. That's what i intended to supply.

Nevertheless, i guess the river placement in MapView is quite easy, even if you might run into problems when editing larger maps.

Why sad Gr3yHound I feel that MapView is great . It would be a lot harder without it .
