I downloaded the files on filefront, but all three contained the same info.
To download the 600+ megs file on dl.free.fr seems an utopia (9 hrs !!!).

The 3 files work together, they don't contain the same files ;-).

I really wish I could get this to work because it seems absolutely increadible! The scope is immense, and I am excited to find something so historical and with so many options - absolutely amazing looking. Now, the problem. When I start playing I have no menu options presented, when I found a city there's no city screen and I can't select anything. The problem might be due to my running the driect2drive (version of civ and bts, but they're all up to date. I don't know - but I'm so excited to have the chance to play this mod. It really seems amazing.

Verify that you haven't any mod installed in My Documents/My Games/Beyond the Sword. You can re-install the game to verify that your original files aren't modified. It seems to be a conflict between your installed files and the mod's files ;-).

okay, verified that there are no MODS in the My Documents/My Games/Beyond the Sword directory. Will try reinstalling some other time....

do you mean i should have ANY mod, or just your mod in the mydocuments\civ4\mods.i have thomas' war 2.85 installed in the my documents. i have your mod installed and it works fine for a few turns but then ctd. why would having a diff. mod there cause this problem in your mod.is this right, i need to delete ALL files from mydocuments\civ4\mods for yours to work correctily??

Installation of mods in the 'mydocuments' folders is always a bad idea ;-). You must install all the mods in the \Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Mods folder. If you install some mods in 'mydocuments\civ4\mods', you will encounter many incompatibility problems.

After installing the mod I get an innumerable amount of XML errors on startup.:( (I do have a Windows Vista 32 bit OS.)

I am currently trying to make this mod more stable, you can try a first new patch here: Patch_1.0c.7z (http://www.civilization-totalwar.com/Patch_1.0c.7z).

The patch 1.0d and 1.0c too doesn't work properly because the text in various part of the interface not works

Good news everyone, i have uploaded the 1.0e patch, which makes the mod totally stable on many computers !

Patch 1.0f uploaded.

The version 1.1 is online. It may be more compatible with Windows Vista/Seven.

I put the mod in my folder but i dont see it when i start up the game. Possible problems: Im using steam, might be a factor, i dont know where to access the mod, or maybe im putting it in the wrong folder. Im also using winrar to extract it. Is that a problem?

Hmm... when I try to download this mod, the download always cancels, when it is finished. It does that on FF, IE and Chrome.
