A poll....from swein? You know I just look for your name on this forum and read the topic only to read how people are bashing you. It can be pretty funny. I'll check back tomorrow to see how they do it this time.

Strategy's my cup of tea.

I'm going to make a bold prediction and say that "Strategy" will win this poll by a very wide margin. That's based on close, scientific study of this forum.

RPGs may be my favorite, but they're very time-consuming. Same with strategy games - there's definitely an appeal to games I can just pick up, shoot at a bunch of crap for a few minutes, and then go do something else for a while. Text adventures are also cool, though I suck at them and they may be in a medium of their own.

By the way, starting a thread without adding one's own opinion is rather bush league.

I agree, strategy is going to win because this is a forum for a series of strategy games. :crazyeye:

As for me, most of the games I play are either strategy or RPGs. I voted for RPG as I tend to enjoy them a little bit more.

Action/Adventure/RPG/Strategy/FPS are the ones I like, don't have a particular favourite. I like grand strategy but I also like to just blow stuff up.

I like all genre's.

splinter cell requires more thinking than LoZ does.........I'd call it a strategic action game.......

Well if you had made the poll multi option I would have. (As a rule don't make polls multi option unless they absolutely need it, like this one).

I don't have a favourite genre. They are like my children. I love all of them.

I like games that are fun, regardless of genre. I for the most part hate puzzle games, but I loved SOTC and some of those random online flash games are pretty fun to.

Any genre of game can be good, but since I have played more hours in FPS's than any other type of game, I'll have to vote that.

I voted for Adventure (because of Zelda and Metroid) but Strategy (only now, though) comes a close second (because of Civilization and StarCraft) and then there's...

I honestly hate platformers, although I did have a lot of fun with Super Mario Galaxy.

Oh, and can anybody (don't if you already know) guess what game series I want to play a game from the most?

It's difficult to say. I generally look at individual games if they look interesting enough.

Based on what you usually say, no.

I enjoy all manner of video games, but the ones I have the most fun with are silly games. EX: Katamari Damacy, Team Fortress 2, Civ IV (to an extent), the simpsons games, crazy taxi, Peggle...

Yes, others are more engaging, and in reality are better games overall, but I like to laugh when I play.
