I dont have any current plans for it. FfH2 is as far as the design plans go.

I say that FfH 3 will be necessary, but probably not until Civ V.

In the mean time, we can work on FfH 2 modmods and Kael can work on compiling the backstory into a book series.

I think there has to be a certain time in between FfH 2 and a possible 3, to let the whole thing evolve.
And given the scope of FfH 2, this time will not be too short.
But I can think of some more products in the FfH universe, while another strategy game is not necessary yet.

A ffh 3 set on the next age would be cool. What is the next age anyway? Or are you leaving it open because there would be different outcomes based on what people do in game (or possibly in the ICE scenarios, who knows.)?

After all the work on FFH2 I suspect the crew will want a rest!!!

Somewhere there was a topic about a modmod called the Age of Despair which happens after Hyborem takes over the world, but the topic died a while ago...

lol, but a book series would be interesting...I'd buy it.

And maybe a scenario where some godsent warrior takes down hyborem, but then that sounds so much like a repeat of Age of Ice. I dunno, something with the compact dissolving would be interesting, perhaps a scenario following of mortals wanting to expel the gods because they feel they can handle it themselves, which in turn leads to some outbreak of war and thus the next age :D

Leaves room for more civs (lead by the gods perhaps or others newly formed), but balance would be interesting.

The Three Brothers might have to be involved. These mortals possess the Gems of Air, Water, and Death. These Gems of Creation let them channel from infinite plains of elements, allowing them to exercise power greater even than a god's. They have set themselves up a a new generation of gods who can exercise unrivaled power unhindered by the Compact, yet they are still mortal.


Laroth might need to be involved too. Many of Arawns angels believe in him, so he very well might become the next god of death. Hmm...I wonder how he and Tuoni would get along...



I had liked the idea of the Age of Despair, but now I'm thinking that an Age of Usurpation might be better. Here humans manage to vanquish and replace all the gods, but may lose their humanity in the process...

Its interesting that the Gods who had their gems stolen atre the least active in creation. Arawn, Tali and Danailin. Is there any link here? Do they need their gems to be active on erebus?

There is one mojor hole in that theory: Tali is one of the most active of all the gods. True, he doesn't really have an organized religion devoted to him (he and his devotees aren't really fans of organization), but his power is manifested in Creation quite often. Inclement weather is always caused by either him or his archangel (except when caused by Air Mages)

Hmmmm..... Yeah, but in the same way people still die and the sea still comes in and whatever, whereas Arawn and Danalain are inactive Gods. I mean that they don't seem to ever have much of a stance, tey don't really take sides, they could be considered the most neutral of the Gods because they tend to satay out of and conflicts between Gods. I thought that might be linked somehow.
