First off, pardon me if this is not the appropriate place for this topic.

So I have recently created my own website (just using html, nothing special). The question I would like to ask you all (since this is all new to me) is where would be a good place to host it and how? I’m not looking for anything special; I was planning on just using my website as a blog and to post a few pictures. I would also like my own domain name if possible.

Any recommendations or advice?

Anyway, the only link I noticed on there was the google one and it does not appear I can get my own domain there.

I have no issues with paying a little amount of money for hosting if necessary.
