I have BTS and I enjoy playing with the HOF mod, which is installed in my Mods folder and works fine.

However, I am told that if I want to be able to download someone else's save from the forums and play it with the HOF mod (assuming they didn't create it with HOF) then I need to install the HOF mod in my CustomAssets folder.

I don't seem to be able to get this to work, though. Can someone help me with the installation process, not giving me more credit for intelligence than I deserve?

I understand, by the way, that to actually submit an HOF entry or to play the GOTM or what have you, I would need to restore my CustomAssets folder back to default. That's fine.

That's fine.You probably want to ask your source what they did. I didn't think the HOF Mod would work properly from CustomAssets. In the beginning we couldn't get it to work there. Firaxis may have fixed the problem we were having but we never went back and made the changes to try it there again. We didn't want to confuse things by moving to a different location.
