I have noticed something weird and annoying when playing the HOF mod. Whenever I restart, I have to reselect things like raging barbs, lock assets, choose religions and so on. On the Warlords mod, I did not have this.

Any way to stop this? I have not always had this problem, just recently.

Thanks.It sounds like your Civ4.ini file isn't being updated. Are you using Vista?

I have this 'problem' on XP Home too (BTS resets, Warlords doesn't). Don't remember if it worked properly before I noticed it.

How are you launching BTS and the HOF Mod?

You might try to manually set the options in the civ4.ini file.

I am using XP. I generally load up the game and then the mod.

I don't know why it is loosing the options. I was wondering if it was a Vista thing but I guess not. I generally start Civ4 with a shortcut that starts the Mod but I wouldn't expect that to make a difference. (I have never been comfortable with double-clicking a save.)

I guess the question is: what is different? Has it always been that way or did something on your system change?

I was wondreing if it had to do with actually finishing a game reather than simply returning to the main menu when I got sick of regenerating the map or changed my mind about conditions.

I was playing the other day and when I left a game, it was storing my choices about choose religions, OCC, blah blah, yadda yadda. So, it seems to come and go.

I will keep my eye out for possible casues. Thanks.
