i try to complete the request i accepted, so here is the Tiger

the model has 1182 vertices, 1207 triangels and a 256 teamcolour skin

because of the rear rotor i had to change the gunship animation to a tiger animation (so link to the included tiger.kfm)

scale for picture was 0,36

there are two minor issues iīm aware, the gunship animations fires with guns, my tiger has no gun :rolleyes: [idea: move the fire effect to the wings, comments?] and the rear rotor seems not excat centered to his rotating axis (i think i saw somethink like this, if it disturbs i will look after it) [solved 03.05., see download or post 7 for details]

If it's possible to do, I'd try to use the sub's torpedo animations, so it looks like it's launching missiles at the target, if you are going to fix the amimations to look prettier. There is a mod tool here for editing animations you could probably use to make that work.

Itīs an awesome model. I really like it. Thanks for your time and work it was not in vein.

Looks like iīll have a nice time using it in my mod :goodjob:

And is there a chance for seeing a Marder made by you, too? :D Would be great, as I see the quality of your models.

i replaced the file with a new version, now it fires rockets when attacking and i think the rear rotor issue is solved, also raised glossines to get reduce the shiny effect.

and now i can say itīs my 30 unit ;)

the nifviewer is in realty the sceneviewer from the maxpackage: http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=10

works as stand alone. if you want to move the .exe file to a new folder donīt forget the boundShape.nif (i work with a shortcut) and i also only add nif, not load them.

Have you tried using a glossmap instead?

after reading Refars tutorial (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=245363), i think no model made by me support a gloss map :( (no model has a skin instance, therefor even my first models with gloss map donīt "use" them), there seems to be a way (iirc dutchking used it by his models), but i hadnīt the time to figure it out

Yes KrugerPritz!!! This model is similar looking to the Mangusta:D http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-129_Mangusta.
Missles on side are also like the anti-tank Mangusta


This unit is awesome Coyote, tnx!! :goodjob: Mangusta shouldn't be too tough lol;)

Hi,

I've done some small changes to the tiger. The most significant change is the new attack animation. Just give it a try.

The skin in the zip was made by bernie14.

From what I noticed, the sounds were different and the attack looked like a laser or like nightfire...

I've done the following

- lighten up the model (not the texture)
- bigger main rotor
- new position over ground
- new attack animation

- no more a crowd of missiles, uses mechinf attack animtion
- new fire sequence, 3 instead of 6 blasts
- simultaneous left and right blast
- new attack angel, 3 instead of 20 degree, looks better in game

Yes of course. As you can see at the screen I'm also using bernie14's reskins. By the way fantastic job, too. :goodjob: Just replace the dds as usual.

Oh, sorry. Please use tiger.nif!!! The others are just safety copies that I made while in progress. I forgot to delete them. :D
