Hello
I have the pleasure to confirm you that Cyberstratege, the strategy games magazine (originally in French), is now available in English. As it is not possible for us to print and distribute the mag, we have decided the propose a digital version. For a start, we present an issue #0, available at www.digitalnewsagent.com (direct link to the mag : http://www.digitalnewsagent.com/shopexd.asp?id=2354&bc=no), an English digital webstore.

I think that many gamers will be very interested to be able at last to read Cyberstratege. We will propose issue #1 in June, it will be a complete adaptation of the last French issue published and we will also release in the coming months some of our special issue, on Civilization IV and Heroes V for exemple. We will publish a new issue every two months.
The price of the digital version is 3,9 euros for the moment.

Don't hesitate to test it and to give us your opinion !

I'm not sure, 'cause I'm not in charge here, but this will probably be counted as a SPAM THREAD.

It seems Thunderfall allowed this guy to run a poll. :)
So, it's considered not spam, nor advertising.
-for now-

Why does it have to be an executable??? I'm not running an executable to look at your magazine.

We know the .exe solution is far from perfect. The problem with PDF is that we cannot control how it spreads. The other commercial solution was to ask people to download a "reader" software to see the mag... what we thought is even more boring.

We are stil working on the best solution, but each one offers different problems.

Seeing as how it's supposed to be a free issue, spreading it far and wide should be what you want.

Seeing as how it's supposed to be a free issue, spreading it far and wide should be what you want.Good point. I too won't use an exe from an unknown source to look at a digital mag. How about web pagifying it? Also, I guess you don't care about the Mac and Linux users because the mag it centered on PC strategy gaming or are you going to be covering console strategy games also?

Finally, $6.10 USD for a digital mag is more than I want to pay. The idea is interesting but it isn't at my price point. Good luck though!
