Hi.........Not to great at posting a question properly, so lets see if I get this right. Lets say I finished building a Great wonder and it aloows me 2 Scientist in the city where it is built. I go into the city and notice the 2 scientist down on the right hand side. My question is what can I do with this people and do they work in the game. Maybe a dumb question......but it has puzzled my for a long time ..thanks :confused::confused::crazyeye::crazyeye: :crazyeye::):):)

The wonder you are referring to is the Great Library, basically it settles 2 regular scientists in the city that it was built. The 2 scientists each give 6 beakers towards research, 9 if you're in representation. The way most people generate research is by converting there commerce to science by use of the slider in the upper left corner. These scientists basically give you a slight boost in total research output. You can't do anything with them persay, but let them do there thing which is research.

Wonders do not allow assigning specialists (as, for instance, libraries, forges etc.), but they can grant you free specialists. If you've built the Great Library, you'll get two free scientists and there is nothing you need to do, they're active as soon as the wonder is finished and, if applicable, until the wonder obsoletes. If you mouse over the scientists, you'll see what they are contributing, which is as the same as the scientists you can assign after building a library do, only wonder ones do not cost food.

Nor do they contribute to :mad:/:yuck: from population, count as population for whipping (max available for whipping = pop/2, rounded down), etc.

Those free specialists from things like the Great Library, Temple of Artemis, and industrial parks also help generate great people of the same type. You can assist this by running additional specialists of that type in the same city.

This is not true. Besides many national wonders (which are wonders, and thus boosted by the industrial trait) a couple of world wonders also open specialist slots (Kremlin - spies; and Ankor Wat - priests).

Regular scientists give 3:science: , 6 with representation.
Great scientists give 6:science: , 9 with representation as well as a hammer.
Free and Great specialists don't eat food, but only the first ones produce GP.
