Demon Hunters are dark, shadowy warriors who are shunned by the greater Night Elf society. They made a pact, long ago, to fight against the forces of chaos using its own terrible powers against it. These mysterious warriors ritually blind themselves so that they develop 'spectral sight' that enables them to see demons and undead with greater clarity. They wield demonically charged warblades in battle and even call upon demonic energies to augment their formidable combat skills. Although they are counted as some of the mightiest warriors within the Night Elves' society, the Demon Hunters are always maligned and misunderstood for making their selfless pact with darkness.

with this info I figured I made the blades with alot of black, to emphasize the demonic aspect of them

also, he is blind so he has a blindfold on... not seeable in civ scale, but it is in the civpic...

RS, I must thank you for having the willpower to make this quality unit from Warcraft 3, a series of which I have long been requesting units for, for Civ 3.

Niiiice! Looks almost exactly like the one from the original game.

This is really well done - I think one of your best units yet - but I would be very wary of making anything from Warcraft, because Blizzard are extremely protective of their intellectual property. This is why you won't find any conversions or remakes of anything from their games here.

According to what they have there, they only have problems with doing commercial works based on their stuff. It says nothing about non-commercial works.

Wow RS, this is indeed my personal favorite unit of yours so far! It is expertly done and looks really (and I mean really) close to the original! Excellent modeling and the animations are also just as beautiful. This unit is so cool, I'm going to HAVE to find some place to use him.

This unit has inspired me to make a Blademaster hero unit for the orcs! Using the props from this forum and some other things it should quite easy to make a model! If I get the model done, would you be willing to make the animations for him, since you seem to outclass me in that considerably? A "ruby_sauce-Gen. Rommel" collaboration if you will! ;)

I was actually planning on making this hero next! and since I am not that good at making models, why not!
