Thank you utahjazz7!

I hope you post that chest armour prop, it looks very usefull!

The shield is very nice, I like how he uses it in the attack to push the enemy :)

EDIT: If utah releases the props, would anyone mind making a spearman? :mischief:

Sweet!

I know this has probably been asked before, but what do you use to make all of your wonderful props/figures?

Great !!! That unit will be used by me in every mod and scenario with the participation of Asian civs.
Heh, I begin to recall those golden times when every time I was entering the Unit Graphics forum in order to get new great historical unit from Kinboat and utahjazz7. :)

That's a sweet unit for a sweet civ, utah! I particularly like the sword stabbing and shield use animations.

This unit is excellent utah, and as TG said, you haven't lost your touch at all! :goodjob:

This would indeed be extremely nice...I would use this armor for quite a few samurai units.

Cool!

Does this mean you're back in action Utah? Hope so, your units are great.

I like how he stretches in the fortify. His method of holding the shield is different. And he's well proportioned. You're still the best utah.

Nice one that.

btw, I'd still love to see Mr. Kool-Aid come back if you find 'im. :)

Thank you all for the kind words. I'm happy to hear that so many like the unit. I was happy with the way the animations turned out, and I think the unit has an overall nice appearance and feel to it.

I might post it down the road. I'm not even positive that it's in my Poser library at this point. It has a problem when the figure's chest bends forward more than about 6 degrees, and part of the armor--granted, a small part around the edge--doesnät render properly. I wasn't able to correct the problems, so I'm not sure I want to release it.

I know this has probably been asked before, but what do you use to make all of your wonderful props/figures?

I use Rhinoceros 2.0 to do all of my modelling. I think they're up to at least 4.0 now, but I only have the older version. I started using it to make tank units when I first started creating units and just stuck with it.

I was able to find the Kool-Aid Man. He was on my girlfriend's computer. I reuploaded the unit earlier today, so there shouldn't be any more problems with downloading it.

Great work. I really like the way he shoves his shield forward, and the straight, clean thrust with the sword looks great. That is actually very hard to do convincingly.

Glad you like the animations. Yeah, the thrust was a bit difficult, but with a little patience it worked out pretty well.

Cool unit! Well done from the Poser master!

BTW thanks a million for your tutorial! I think it is probably one of the single greatest contributions to the game! :goodjob:
