View Full Version : All units being TXT_??????_?????? Frank2386 May 21, 2008, 05:21 PM I think D drive is for the disk reader, but that is probably just my comp. Are you sure you downloaded the entire mod, not just the patch? Yes the 0.31 not patch e im perfectly sure, I am actually also pretty sure that it's because i installed it in D:/ and I think the names are all locked to C:/ Files Ajidica May 21, 2008, 05:23 PM Good luck, and if it still doesn't work, try posting in the troubleshooting sub-forum. Tarquelne May 21, 2008, 05:40 PM TXT_??????_??????? If it's not literally "??????_?????" but instead stuff like "TXT_KEY_UNIT_AXEMAN" then the CIV4GameText.xml file is missing or can't be found. So a bad install could do it. Though a bad install would generally give you bigger problems. The file in question should be in GAME INSTALL DIRECTORY/Beyond the Sword/Mods/Fall from Heaven 2 031/Assets/XML/Text Demus May 21, 2008, 06:06 PM i'm guessing you've eighter not installed the full mod, or you're playing in a language not yet translated in FFH (try playing in english). The D drive shouldn't cause that much difficulties i think, i myself have my entire civ4 folder installed on my F:/ drive (i have 3 hard discs in this computer, one of which has a seperate virtual drive for my OS installation so i can easily do a clean install without losing all my data). |
