I start this thread to share my experience in playing CIV and its expansions.

The aim is to post my strategies, the game curiousness (damn RNG) and to gather opinions and anecdotes from your games.

A short story of me as Civ player
I started with Civ 2 (only some shot in Civ 1), then 3, then 4.
It's surely the game i play the most, i only play strategic games, the other one is Command and Conquer and all its sequel.

I'm a Quattromaster (with a lot of cheesy games, i must admit) since the early 2007 IIRC.
As anyone i started to play with lot of reloadings, but once discovered the GotM and after a while the HoF, i completely forgot this habit.
I arrived to regularly win on Monarch, often on Emperor, but to have less challenging games, to play in relax i started to try to compete for the lowest levels HoF tables. Not so easy, since a lot of good players do the same.
When the EQM thing started, i aimed for a warlord EQM, but i decided to go on Noble to avoid to regenerate a good map only because not enough (or not at all) workers/settlers popped from the GHs.
Now i try to improve my gameplay, and probably i'll raise the difficulty. For now, anyway Noble is the target.

From time to time i'll post my game stories, chronicles of a particular game or series of strange events happened in abandoned games.
