I can get it okay. Was it the whole site or a problem with submissions?

I might have lost a game . it owuld have been a #1. Oh well. That just means I will have to submit more games!!! mmmuuhahahahaa:D

edit: darn it!! I lost more than one. I thought that renaming the autosave would keep it in the folder, but that apparently wasn't good enough. They were written over. A lesson learned I guess.

You can move the initial autosave into a differnt folder. That should allow you to salvage games in the future.

Wow, that was a fast response Denniz, thanks! It's working fine this morning.

@WilliamOfOrange - I lost a few games in the past & it's a bummer. I do what Mesix suggests - submit a game then just move all of the files as a block into a separate "submitted games" folder, including all the intermediate saves etc etc. Once the game has been accepted, I just delete them. Useful if there's a query (eg if I've submitted the wrong start file as I've done on more than one occasion  )

nice to know I'm not the only one:rolleyes:
There is also an option (or a few options) allowing
- different naming conventions
- save at the start
- save on end
- save on exit
I use all of them and never lose any game (I'm not saying I'm winning all my games, just that my saves don't get lost), since they all are saved in the "single" folder, and not in the autosave folder.

My money says we're not even the only two :mischief:
