Knowing all I need to have to run a computer is Explorer and System. The rest of the programs seem a waste of my computers power, how do I, without having to press Ctrl+Alt Del all the time, get rid of these pointless leaches of my system power?

To be more clear, how do I not have such programs everytime I load up windows? Though I want to keep my virus software in the background.

Examples of such programs are: Loadwc, rundll32, wkcalrem etc.

Go to the START menu and select RUN, type MSCONFIG and click OK. Click the Startup tab and you will get a list of all the programs that are activated when you start up your computer. Just select which ones you want and don't want

Hope this helps.....
