Have you played any of the games in the Final Fantasy or Castlevania series? I would recommend you buy the game that is in the series you liked more.

Well... do you want a side-scrolling action game, or a turn-based RPG? These games are in completely different genres. Whatever suits your fancy.

But hold it right there, I saw a list of 3rd party companies that release VC games, and Square Enix was there! So, well...

The final fantasy game on the VC is MY life as King. It is okay, certainly not at all a true final fantasy. You send your subjects out to fight for you while you build a city. It's got some novelty, but I am waiting for a true final fantasy (even the first one would be fine) or secret of mana to come out.

FF6 might be the best RPG ever, I would take a chance on that :p

Heh no, opinions on which game is better is generally mixed (see IGN's Top 100 Lists from 2005 and 2007) among the public. Famitsu's reader's for instance, think III, IV, VII, and X are better.

Why do you believe everything you read? Top 100 lists are total crocks. They only cover games everyone knows and go by popularity. It's really retarded of you to keep referring to them as the end all be all of video gaming knowledge. IMO all final fantasies are really terrible games.

Having been a gamer for nearly 20 years now, I have played every Final Fantasy and have gamed on every Nintendo console, I have the right to say Final Fantasy is over rated and should have stopped at 6.

Heck, they could have stopped at IV as far as I'm concerned (except for the tactics variants).
