I unfortunately don't have a screenshot for this. (Didn't know how)

I had a large number of forces ready to conquer a city, and it was spontaneously given to me, unoccupied, as well as the city to the north of it (which I hadn't even seen yet, I chose to destroy it). This occurred during the AI move after I ended my turn. No troops in either one, just given control.

Glitch? Just curious if this has happened to anyone. No screenshot to prove it, so I don't really care if you don't believe me, just checking! :crazyeye:

If you were not at war, the City flipped via culture.

It's a well known bug, the worker bug. Download the unofficial patch given in this forum to fix it, as well as other bugs.

How did you destroy a city under your control?

How did you destroy a city under your control?

I'd assume it asked him whether he wanted to keep it or raze it after it "flipped" via the bug.
