I have trying to download files from this site and it has not been working. I am using a mac on warlords

Warlords is not involved in the download process, you just use your web browser, eg Safari.

Which files are you having trouble with? What web browser are you using?

If the file is displaying as random text instead of downloading, then try a Control-Click on the download link (right click if you have a two button mouse), and then select "Download Linked File ..."
