So i just installed Civ IV, then I went to DL the patch but when I extract and try to run the patch, it tells me that it does not find a copy of civ. What am I doing wrong?

but for the question: there is no patch for Gold edition - it is patched to date. the patches do not recognize it.

oops, sorry. Learning new forums is rough sometimes. LOL, but thanks for that info. I will play warlords later to try it out.
